DocMate reads your documents so you don’t have to — a bill, a lease, a letter from an office. It writes a plain summary, finds the deadlines, and answers your questions in your own language.
Email us with what happened and what you expected. We usually reply within two working days. If it’s about a specific document, tell us its name — we can’t see your documents, so we can only go on what you tell us.
genai.moynul@gmail.comInbox. Everything you add waits there first. Inbox is a waiting room, not a folder — things left in it are cleared out after a while. To keep a document, save it into a folder.
Open it and type your question, or press the microphone and speak. Ask anything: when is this due, what do I need to send back, what does this word mean.
Yes — 20 languages, changed in Settings. DocMate replies in the language you write or speak in, and summaries follow your app language.
Open Scan, choose Multi-Page, and photograph each page. Every page appears as a small picture at the bottom — tap the × to redo one that came out badly. Press Done and all the pages become a single document. Up to 20 pages.
Yes, up to 5. The first one opens with its summary; the others wait in Inbox with theirs arriving right behind.
PDFs, photos and screenshots, Word documents, spreadsheets, plain text and web pages. If it has words on it, it’s worth trying.
The document still works — DocMate read it before uploading. Only the cloud copy is missing, usually because the connection dropped. It finishes by itself next time you open the app, and there’s a button in Settings → Storage & Data if you want to try now.
DocMate finds dates in your documents — a renewal, a payment, a deadline to reply — and makes a reminder for each one. You don’t have to type anything. Reminders are free on every plan.
On purpose. Alerts appear on your lock screen, where anyone nearby can read them, and these come from passports, visa papers and medical bills. The alert says only that something is due. Open it to see what.
Check that notifications are allowed for DocMate in your phone settings. A reminder also needs a date — if DocMate found none in the document, there’s nothing to alert you about.
Record an appointment — a doctor, a lawyer, a landlord, an office — and get it back as a written record with a summary and any next steps or deadlines, in the language you choose. It helps most when the meeting isn’t in your first language.
Yes, and that’s your responsibility rather than the app’s. In many places everyone present has to agree. DocMate always shows clearly that it’s recording and can never record secretly.
Two hours a month with Pro. If you run out you can add 10 more hours, and those never expire. The offer only appears at the moment you need it.
It keeps the screen awake while recording. If a phone call arrives, the phone takes the microphone and recording stops — no app can prevent that. Everything recorded up to that point is kept, and DocMate tells you what happened.
Create a group and invite up to 10 people. Everyone in it can see the documents you share there, ask questions about them, and talk to each other — useful for a family sorting out one person’s paperwork.
No. Only the person who creates the group needs Family. Everyone else joins, reads, asks and shares on a free account.
Open it inside the group and choose to remove it. That takes out the shared copy only — the document stays in your own library along with every chat about it. Only whoever shared it can do this — not even the group owner can remove someone else's document.
Reminders, without limit, always. Plus 10 documents and 10 questions. Pro removes those limits and adds recording. Family adds groups.
Through Apple, not inside DocMate. On your iPhone open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then DocMate, then Cancel. You keep everything until the period you’ve already paid for ends.
Open Plans and tap Restore purchases. If nothing changes, check you’re signed in with the same Apple ID that paid. Write to us if it still won’t budge.
You have 30 days. Deleted documents go to Trash and come back with their summary and every chat about them. After 30 days they’re gone for good.
Yes — Settings, then Security. Turn on Face ID or your passcode and choose how soon it locks after you leave. Turning the lock off also needs your face or passcode, so nobody else can switch it off.
Settings, then Account, then the link at the bottom. It shows exactly what will be removed before you confirm. This can’t be undone — if you only want to stop using the app, signing out is enough.
